Chanukah Special for December 3, 2010

Hello everyone, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and will have a very happy Chanukah.  Yaakov David turned one – and ate a lot of sushi (Nava was willing to pinch hit for him and eat his cupcakes).
This week we will have a Chanukah special, sushi for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Shabbos (at $6 a roll) and latkes for Wednesday or Shabbos; and Hot Wings (a dozen for $7 or 2 dozen for $12) for Thursday.  Please see the menus below.
As a customer appreciation campaign – if you recommend us for an event we end up doing – you will receive dinner for 4.

Chanukah Special – $15 per person (please order by Wednesday at noon or as soon as you know):

  • Samosa (Indian puff pastry with potatoes and peas) (one samosa per portion and you can order more for $2 each).

Fish Course (for an additional $4):

  • Poppop Bob’s (“will sell like hotcakes”) Fishcake – it is similar to a crabcake – it has old bay seasoning and gefilte fish and in the end is a yummy “cake”).  With homemade tartar sauce on the side.

  • Beet, Cabbage and Mushroom Borscht (I tried to find a traditional Chanukah soup – and this is what I found….)

Main Course:

  • Apricot Glazed Chicken

Meat Course (for an additional $5 instead of the chicken):

  • Onion and Tomato Brisket

Side Dishes (you can pick 2):

  • Latkes with applesauce
  • Carrot Kugel
  • Zucchini and tomato Saute

Dessert (for an additional $2 a person – you can pick either the cookies or the banana)

  • Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Ginger Cookies
  • Fried Banana with hot sauce (yum)

Other things we’re doing this week:Sushi: Fresh sushi – with your desired fillings and protein (with fish, egg, tofu or veggies and any combo) – $6 for a normal roll.

Latke Bar:

Zucchini latkes, potato latkes, sweet potato latkes, spicy latkes – $1.50 for 1 and $15 for a dozen.  Can have fun spices (exotic – tumeric, curry, cumin, fenugreek, etc)  upon request.  Can also order a variety of applesauces and sour creams.
Please keep us in mind to cater your holiday party.
For orders over $75 and in the eruv, there is free delivery.  For orders under $75 there is a $5 delivery charge or you can pick up.
If anyone would like to send me ideas on specials – we would very much like to hear from you, send us an email or post a message on the website.

Please keep us in mind if you are having a dinner party, sheva brachos, vorts, etc during the week – we would very much appreciate the opportunity to put together some delicious food for your special occasions.
