This week (July 8/9th) we will have a Cajun special. There will be:

- or Cajun Chicken
- Red Beans and Rice (or Corn Bread)

Appetizer:
Jalapeno Popper (a jalapeno pepper stuffed with peanut butter, if you have never tried this, it is delicious, though different – the peanut butter helps mitigate the heat). You are supposed to eat the whole pepper at once, so that the the peanut butter cools down the pepper’s spiciness while you eat it.
Fish Course:
Main Course:
Side Dishes (pick 2):
Dessert for an additional $2 a serving
Let’s kick it up a notch…. This week we are doing a $15 Cajun special. If you would like to try the special with less heat or more heat, you must make a special request – otherwise, the heat is going to be approximately a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale.
Interesting fun facts about Cajun food: first, the name Cajun comes from “Acadian” – which was the name for French people who were displaced from Canada and moved down to Louisiana in the 1800s or so. Gumbo is a Bantu (Angolan) word for Okingumbo which is the name of the Okra plant.
If you tried the special, please make a comment here and let us know what you think. Take care.

Talk about good food. Starting off with a hot pepper that is cooled by creamy peanut butter was a great way to get my taste buds rolling. yummm.
Service was awesome too with the food being delivered hot and with a smile. The delivery person had change and spoke English too. Now that’s a real bonus.
Cost effective too. A home cooked meal with a gourmet feeling for a solid price. Will order many times over. I can’t wait for other themes. A+++
